Our Purpose
 Our purpose in ministry at Grace Temple is to build up the body of Christ and the winning of lost souls through means of media, printed page, mission trips, visiting hospitals and prisons, and through personal testimony. The Bible tells us in James 1:27: Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
We are striving to come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (Eph. 4:13). We realize that it is only through His grace that we can achieve this. We see in Eph. 1:7 that His grace is rich toward us. Having set under the ministry of a great man of God, Rev. George L. Pike, Sr., for many years, we at Grace Temple have been indoctrinated in a life of Holiness and of world evangelism. Now that God has placed us in ministry, we want to do our part in the kingdom of God. I have worked with Bro. Pike's ministry since I was just a child. In 1999, God called me in the position of a pastor, which was something I had never dreamed. I was working a job in construction trying to support my family and help in the work of the Lord wherever I could. This change was a great surprise to me and my family. I can truthfully say that God has been faithful all the way. He has allowed us to minister in a number of different countries such as Mexico, Philippines, Kenya, Malawi, Moldovia, India and many places in the USA. God has been so good! Hallelujah!
