His family left the community when he was four years old and traveled for three years until they settled in Monroe, Georgia, under the ministry of Rev. George L. Pike, Sr. He married the First Lady, Sister Tonya Beachy, in 1980. They have three daughters, Amanda, Mary, and Sarah. Pastor Beachy worked in construction and played drums at his home church until 1999, when he was unexpectedly called to his position in ministry. He started Grace Temple in 2008, and their first few services were held at his daughter’s and son-in-law’s home before they found a building in Athens, Georgia. Then in 2011, the church found a permanent home on Locklin Road in Monroe, Georgia. Pastor and First Lady both have a desire to see unity in the body of Christ.[/ultimate_heading]
